Maitinimas

Children can enjoy dishes typical of our region. We avoid added sugars and add seasonal fruit and vegetables to our menus.

We offer all-day menus – breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

The breakfast menu includes porridge made from a variety of cereals, flavoured with butter or mashed berries, and drinks such as water and tea.

We serve soups and hot second courses made with beef, pork, turkey, chicken and fish for lunch every day. They are accompanied by a side dish of potatoes, pasta or various cereals (rice, buckwheat, pearl barley) and a fresh vegetable salad with olive oil.

For dinner, we have flour pancakes, scones, fritters with various sauces, natural sourdough muffins, yoghurt, milk, natural juices and teas.

Our children's meals are packed with seasonal vegetables that provide children with a wide range of vitamins and minerals needed for their growing bodies. We eat fruit and healthy snacks every day.

Meal prices are shown on the rates page.

Adaptation

Adaptacija

We give individual attention to each child's adaptation to kindergarten and choose the most appropriate methods for each individual child. Some babies feel comfortable in the first week, while others take longer to settle in. This is normal.

First, we invite the child to visit the kindergarten with his/her parents and get to know the environment. We recommend leaving your toddler for an hour or two on the first day and picking them up before going out in the morning. If the mood is good, we invite the newcomer to play outside with us the next day and have lunch when they return. Once the toddler has successfully passed this stage, he or she can get used to a midday nap, knowing that his or her parents will pick them up when they wake up or after dinner. Depending on the emotional state observed, you can gradually increase the length of the stay in kindergarten until you pick the child up in the evening.

In order to get to know each child and their family better, to facilitate the process of settling into kindergarten and to respond to the delicate needs of the child, we invite parents to fill in our questionnaire. You can ask for it at the kindergarten, or print it out and bring it with you.

Child's box

Darželinuko spintelė

Every child in kindergarten has a box, a coat rack and a shoe corner, all labelled with their name.

Parents are asked to always leave a spare set of clothes so that we can change if the child gets wet or dirty. There are no requirements for sleepwear, the choice depends on the child's habits at home.

We preserve and collect every child's drawings and artwork. Parents can view them in their child's personal binder and in the kindergarten displays.
